The Cannon Group
is an architectural firm that specializes in roofing,
waterproofing and exterior wall projects. Tremendous changes
have occurred over the past twenty-five years in the construction
industry, especially in roofing. Herbert J. Cannon recognized
the need for consultants who were dedicated to keeping pace with the
almost daily changes in the roofing and waterproofing industry.
The rapid advance of new technology in roofing has resulted in both
roofing system improvements and, unfortunately, the failure of many
new roofing systems which were supposed to end all of our roofing
problems forever. Our hope and goal with all clients is to
develop a long-term relationship which enables the
Cannon Group to become familiar with all of our clients
facilities, personnel, objectives and problems. In that way, we
can help solve not only immediate “crisis” roofing and exterior
building problems, but help to plan and budget for the future in a way
that will get the most effective results from available funds.
The Cannon Group
is one of the few licensed architectural firms in the country whose
sole practice is to provide roofing, waterproofing, and masonry
restoration architectural services. Every one of the projects
undertaken by the Cannon Group since it’s’ formation in 1982 has dealt
with roof consulting, roof system design, roof installation inspection
or exterior building waterproofing.
The Cannon Group has a
specialized staff that consists of a unique blend of registered architects, roof
consultants, and former roofing contractors and computer professionals.
Our individual staff members bring the firm years of experience obtained from
various positions throughout the roofing industry prior to joining our
organization. As licensed architects, the
Cannon Group understands all aspects of
building construction. This enables the
Cannon Group
to analyze and design roofing and waterproofing systems, along with
masonry restoration, as they relate to the whole building, not just as an
isolated item. As former contractors, we have in-depth, hands on knowledge
of roofing installation procedures, techniques, management, quality control and
construction costs.
The Cannon
Group has no affiliation with any roofing contractors or roofing
material manufacturers. We can, therefore, keep a completely “open mind”
when designing and selecting the most appropriate roofing system to best meet
the individual needs of our clients facilities. Numerous types of roof
systems are available for consideration on each roofing project. For each
type of available system there are also numerous different manufacturers of the
same type of material. Our job is to design a roof system, which is the
best type for your situation, and to specify only those manufacturers, which
produce the best quality materials in their category. Further, we can
provide the necessary construction period services to make sure your new roof
system will give you the maximum service life.
