Field Staff Members of the Cannon
Group have, through prior work history, attained an
extensive knowledge of roofing practices, accepted construction standards and
methods, and developed management level skills.
Gerald Dugan: Senior
Roof Consultant / Project Manager
Mr. Dugan has over 30 years of experience in the Roofing industry, starting as an apprentice
and advancing to project manager of technical services positions. This
experience has given Mr. Dugan an in-depth knowledge of project coordination,
project set-up and the supervision of roofing crews. As a former industry
roofer, Mr. Dugan has performed roof investigations, obtained samples for
asbestos testing, provided estimating services for both repairs and
replacement of roof systems, and has a full knowledge of both single-ply and
built-up roof systems and is experienced in estimating, fabricating and the
installation of commercial sheet metal. Mr. Dugan is also experienced in
infrared night scanning for moisture content in the building envelope system.

Albert Shade: Senior
Roof Consultant / Project Manager
Mr. Shade is
Senior Field Monitor for the Cannon Group. In addition to being assigned to
Full-Time Monitoring Projects, Mr. Shade has served on Inspection Teams for
Verizon New York OCRS. Mr. Shade is a former Roofing Contractor, specializing
in slate roofing systems, and has over thirty years of industry experience.
As a Project Monitor for the Cannon Group, Mr. Shade monitors the installation
of the roofing system for compliance with the plans and specifications. Mr.
Shade prepares daily reports including such information as non-compliance
items so that the contractor can take immediate corrective action, insulation
attachment, membrane installation, bitumen temperatures, surfacing,
construction traffic and workmanship
William
W. Edge: Field Inspectors
Mr. Edge has
over thirty years of experience in the roofing industry specializing in modified
roof and EPDM. Working on the major casinos in Atlantic City, NJ and the Oyster
Creek Nuclear Power, Forked River NJ he became proficient in all phases of
roofing on commercial buildings. Mr. Edge is on-site during construction and is
the “eyes and ears” for our clients. He prepares daily reports on his
observations of roofing procedures and standards and makes sure that the
contractor conforms to the construction specification as designed by this
office.
Thomas
Pursell: Field Inspectors
Mr. Pursell has
23 years of roofing experience, which includes 19 years of managing roofing
crews. Mr. Pursell has a background in the proper installation of all types of
roofing systems. On-site during construction, Mr. Pursell prepares daily
reports of his observations of roofing procedures and standards, and makes sure
that the contractor conforms to the construction specifications.
Robert
F. Dunphy: Field Inspectors
Mr. Dunphy has a
background in the proper installation of all types of roofing systems. His
duties for the Cannon Group include observation of daily construction progress
to assure compliance to Plans and Specification. Observations are reported in a
Daily Construction Reports to be reviewed by the project manager and client |
